Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Get cars and take them to the service area according to the work order.
• Work with the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency following manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Identify root causes of malfunctions and repair them as permitted.
• Get parts from the Parts Department for your work.
• Identify and save parts for turning in to customer or dealership for warranty work.
• Let the service advisor know of any changes in your work, e.g., the work isn’t necessary, more work is needed, or more time is required to complete work.
• Engage in proper documentation.
• Make sure the customer’s complaint has been resolved with a road test.
• Take part in and be subject to quality checks.
• Be present during all training classes.
• Keep yourself up-to-date with all factory technical bulletins.
• Keep the vehicles in your car clean.
• Ensure all safety and housekeeping procedures are correctly administered.
• Know and abide by all federal, state, and local regulations on automotive repair and service work.
